Sawsawan - Dipping sauce

Suka, Sibuyas at Sili
This all-purpose sawsawan is particularly best served with fried meat or seafood.

Toyomansi
What is it? A mixture of Toyo (soy sauce) and kalamansi.

Toyo is served on its own as a dipping sauce, but when combine with kalamansi juice (native citrus) it gives another flavor, a salty- sour taste rolled into one dipping sauce and named Toyomansi.

This combination becomes a favorite and popular addition to the many sawsawan (dipping sauces) list in Filipino cuisine. It is great to serve with inihaw or fried fish, lumpia (spring roll); it enhances the flavor of the dish.
